Where the AI got it right
In the KBO, the models were flawless. NC Dinos vs SSG Landers prediction saw all ten models back SSG, and the Landers delivered a 2-1 win. The second KBO call, KIA Tigers vs Kiwoom Heroes prediction, was less unanimous at 80%, but KIA's 2-0 shutout validated the majority view.
MLB provided several clean hits. The Texas Rangers vs Boston Red Sox prediction was called for Texas by 70% of models, and the Rangers won 7-3. The Colorado Rockies vs San Diego Padres prediction saw 90% favour San Diego, who romped to a 9-3 victory. Later, the Cincinnati Reds vs Los Angeles Dodgers prediction was unanimous for the Dodgers, and they won 8-2.
In NPB, the Orix Buffaloes vs Fukuoka S. Hawks prediction had all ten models on the Hawks, who cruised to a 7-1 win. The Nippon Ham Fighters vs Seibu Lions prediction was also unanimous for Nippon Ham, and they won 4-2.
Where it got it wrong
Four matches defied the consensus. In MLB, the Houston Astros vs Kansas City Royals prediction saw all ten models pick Houston, but Kansas City won 5-2. The Pittsburgh Pirates vs Milwaukee Brewers prediction was another unanimous call for Milwaukee, yet Pittsburgh prevailed 7-4. The New York Mets vs Philadelphia Phillies prediction had 100% backing for the Mets, but Philadelphia shut them out 3-0.
